Tyler Wright is a two time World Surfing Champion from Australia, and grew up in the little town of Culburra, on the NSW South Coast. Her elder brother Owen is a World tour veteran, and younger brother Mikey is a free surfing freak. 

Growing up as one of five kids, Tyler’s surfing was shaped by her competition with her brothers and sister, and the raw heavy waves she surfed in her local area. Tyler’s surfing is based on powerful explosive, surfing and a no limits approach. Whether it’s 10 feet or 2 ft, Tyler does not hold back.

Tyler came into the spotlight at the very young age of 14, when she became the youngest surfer to win a World Surfing Event at Manly in 2008 as a wildcard. Fast forward 8 years and in 2016 she won her first World Title, taking out 5 event wins of the season. She repeated the feat the very next year to secure her second World Title.

The last 5 years Tyler has remained consistently in the top 5 and each year is one of the biggest threats to take out a World Title. Still very young, Tyler has many years left to add to her 2 World Titles.
